Emergency power unit French catastrophe

The Emergency power unit French catastrophe , shortened in GSCF , is a founded Governmental organization French in 1999. She belongs to the organizations of first aid in France.

This organization in particular intervened after the Ouragan Katrina like in 2006 with the Lebanon at the time of the israélo-Lebanese conflict.

Presentation

As a Organization of international solidarity (OSI), GSCF is recognized near the service “Humane Urgency” of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs French; it is a Association law of 1901 with nonlucrative goal.

It was founded in 1999 by Thierry Velu, professional Sapeur-pompier.

Objectives

GSCF pursues the following goals:

“To mobilize on the international national territory and in favor of the populations victims of natural disasters or human all means necessary in order to bring help and assistance to them as soon as possible, with the effectiveness, necessary competence and devotion. ”

When the situation required it, the GSCF immediately dispatched a rescue squad on the spot of the catastrophe.

Values and organization

Independent and apolitical organization, the GSCF intervenes with the victims without discrimination ethnic, political, religious or cultural. Non-profit organization, the action of the GSCF rests on the voluntary engagement of its members. By respect of the people, the GSCF chose never not to communicate on its missions through images of dying victims.

1st price for courage and devotion: Handing-over of the 1st national price Giacinto Accornero with the GSCF, for the courage and devotion of its teams. The Emergency power unit French Catastrophe (GSCF) received on June 12th the first national price, Giacinto Accornero of the Foundation of France which rewarded an association whose initiative interdependent testifies to courage and devotion of its members. The ceremony proceeded in the Caisse Nationale of the Savings banks in Paris where the 9 prizes winner of the 13th Ecureuil contest could receive price and trophies.

Bénensol Project (voluntary engaged for solidarity): For France, the GSCF created the Bénensol project (voluntary engaged for solidarity) which testifies to a real will to gather all the French citizens wishing to imply itself voluntarily following a catastrophe or an involving event of the consequent disasters.
