Emei Shan
The Emei Shan (峨嵋山, Pinyin éméishān ) is one of the four Buddhist crowned mountains of China.
At the 6th century, Emei shan, which culminates has: 3099 meters, was associated has Puxian (Samantabhadra), a Bodhisattva symbol of the altruism, often represented assembled on an white elephant with 6 defenses.
The top is often covered by the fog, but, when the weather conditions are favorable, it is sometimes possible to observe the light of Bouddha , phenomenon of refraction which occurs on the clouds; in the past, many pilgrims jumped into space at its sight, believer whom the Buddha called them with him.
