Emblem Fire: Path off Radiance
tactical Video game of role is a , developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo on GameCube. The play left on April 20th, 2005 concerned video to the Japan, on October 17th, 2005 concerned video in North America and on November 4th, 2005 concerned video in Europe. They is the ninth episodes of the series Fire Emblem and the third to be left in North America and Europe. It is also the first time in the series which one returned is in 3D.
In 2007, its direct continuation, Emblem Fire: Goddess off Dawn left on the console Wii, taking again the same fictitious universe but fascinating 3 years after the events told in Path Radiance places off.
Gameplay
Gameplay is relatively simple seemingly, but is quite as complicated in reflection. To know its units, their capacities is a major asset in the play. The famous triangle of the weapons (the sword beats the axe, the axe beats the lance, the lance beats the sword) is always present. However the traditional magic trinity of the series (Animated beats White Magie, White Magie beats Black Magie, Black Magie beats Anima) does not appear here, since the Anima magic is dégroupée between fates of fire, wind and electricity, and the usual fates of white magic and black magic are gathered within the magic of light.
Laguz
An innovation introduced by this Emblem Fire, and included in its continuation is the addition of a new type of playable character: the Laguz . They are in fact semi-human characters semi-animals. One finds thus various Laguz races: thecat-like ones (cats and tigers), the man-birds (falcons, corbels and will hérons), as well as the man-dragons. As such, Laguz have two distinct forms: human, where they are completely vulnerable, and animal, where they become powerful combatants not having that only one attack (they do not carry weapons, but use their natural attributes, nozzles, claws…). A bar of gauge filling as the turns pass under their human form makes it possible them to take animal form since it is filled, until this bar discharges with the wire turns and which they become again human, consequently having to flee any dispute under penalty of being made attack without any possibility of defense.

Ike
Ike is the main character of the play. It incarnates the self-confidence, the merit and courage. Throughout the play, it fights for values such as the respect and peace. Its history is interesting: he is the son of Greil , the chief of a troop of mercenaries belonging to the country of Crimea, in war against the kingdom of Daein at the beginning of the play. With the wire of his history, his/her father is made assassinate by the Black Chevalier , his former disciple and this event upsets its waitings, it then decides to be avenged. It will also help the Princess Elincia , heiress of the throne of Crimea, in its fight to reconquer its kingdom, conquered by Daein.
Titania
Old royal guard of Crimea, it joined the mercenaries of Greil before the birth of Ike. It is a paladin at the beginning of the adventure, handling the axe and the lance. Very powerful character, it is always of good council for Greil then for Ike later.
Soren
Magus controlling particularly the magic of the wind, Soren is a mysterious and dark character. He is very close to Greil and of Ike, it is one of their advised main thing and strategist at the time of the engagements. Like any magician, it is weak with the body with body but to become very powerful little at the time of the adventure. He thinks mainly of the interest of the group, even if it is a position which little sometimes to show it without heart for the others, like Laguz or the people of Crimea.
Oscar
Rider working for Greil, it can handle the lance, when it evolves/moves in paladin it can is to use in more the swords, the axes or the arcs. It is also the brother of Boyd and Rolf, with whom it can, at the time them engagements, to make an attack in trio with the arc.
Boyd
Mercenary of Greil, Boyd is a combatant with the axe, while evolving/moving as a Warrior he can use the arcs. Brother of Oscar and Rolf. He often puts himself in competition with Ike and it is against him that one learns how to play at the time of the prolog with Ike.

Rhys is a welfare man, the only available one to the beginning of the play, and the only one also with being able to use the magic of the light thereafter. it is a priest, it thus does not have a very great defense and always requires to be protected.
