Emanuela Pierantozzi
Emanuela Pierantozzi , born the August 22nd 1968 with Bologna, is old a Judo kate Italian which was illustrated in the category of the average weight (- 66 kg) until 1999 before fighting at the light heavyweights (- 78 kg). The sporting one starts to be illustrated at the end of the years 1980 by podiums with the championships of Europe then becomes world champion with Belgrade in 1989. She preserves this title in 1991 then takes part in the Olympic Games of Barcelona in 1992 when the female judo makes its appearance. She there carries out a course without fault almost but is beaten finally by Cuban the Odalis Revé. She thus obtains money the medal, the first Olympic reward for an Italian judokate. Thereafter, Bolonaise does not know a bad patch not appearing any more but occasionally on the European podiums. She takes part in the Jeux of Atlanta in 1996 with the hope to conquer a new reward but is eliminated prematurely. However, the judokate consequently starts a return on the international podiums by gaining the Mediterranean Jeux successively then a medal to the world of Paris in 1997. Contributing from now on in the higher category of weight, that of the light heavyweight, it gains its ticket for its third OJ, organized with Sydney in 2000, where it gains a bronze medal. This competition is its last since she announces her sporting retirement at the conclusion of the Olympic test.
