Emanuel Büchel

Emanuel Büchel , born on August 18th, 1705 with Basle and died in the same city on September 24th, 1775, is a Boulanger, draftsman, topographer and painter in watercolours Suisse.

Biography

During the first part of its life, he exerts in parallel the trade of baker and Political personality, as a member of the Grand the Council like representative of his Corporation since 1743 and guard of the keys of the door of Steinen ( of German Steinentor in ).

From 1735, it leaves bakery to launch out in the drawing. It first of all carries out sights of the commune of Pratteln before painting, the following year, of the watercolours related to the Biologie for Benedikt Staehelin. It then launches out in topography from 1738 with sights of Basle then, between 1748 and 1763, several ruins of the canton for Daniel Bruckner. Thereafter, it also carries out several frescos, of which that of the cathedral.
