Elsie Lefebvre

Elsie Lefebvre (May 5th, 1979 with Montreal -) is a political woman Québécois. Of the by-election of 2004 with 2007, it was Député E pequist with the National Assembly of Quebec. She then represented the district of Bay-tree-Dorion.

Biography

Born with Montreal, it joint the Left Québécois at the age seventeen years. She studies with the Université of Americas to Puebla with the Mexico then collaborates with the general delegations of Quebec and works as secretary for the politician French Philippe Séguin.

Lefebvre is elected at the time of a by-election in 2004 in the district of Bay-tree-Dorion, succeeding the liberal deputy outgoing Christos Sirros which held the district since 1981.

Twenty-four years old only at the time of its election, it was more the young woman to be sat at the National Assembly of Quebec.

June 15th, 2005 during the Period of questions to the National Assembly, it evoked possible a Conflit of interests implying the wife of Jean Charest, Michele Dionne. A controversy burst after one intended the Prime Minister to utter insults to him.

Mrs. Lefebvre was spokesperson of the Official opposition immigration cultural communities.

She was demolished by: 1068 votes against the liberal Gerry Sklavounos at the time of the elections of 2007.

She works now at the sides of the artist Gregory Charles.
