Elliott Murphy

Elliott Murphy (born on March 16th 1949 in Garden City, New York -) is a Auteur-compositeur-interprète, Musicien and American writer .

Encouraged by his/her Joséphine mother, Elliot Murphy learns the guitar at the twelve years age. With her husband Elliot senior, it transmits to him his passion of the music and the spectacle. Elliot Murphy is sixteen years old when his/her father dies. Wire liking, it will dedicate two songs to them: ” One Elvis Presley Birthday” and “Time Flies “. Teenager, it plays in amateurs small groups of rythm' blues. He leaves then for Europe and strengthens his training of musician there while playing in the streets of many cities.

Elliot Murphy records in 1973 at Polydor a first promising album” Aquashow” for which it is accompanied by a group by folk-rock'n'roll of which his/her brother Matthew Murphy with the basse.
