Ellesborough
Ellesborough is a village of the Buckinghamshire, England. The village is located at the foot of the Chilterns to surroundings 3 km of Wendover.
The name of the village east of Anglo-Saxon origin . It means where adzes are pastured (“where the bottoms graze”). The village is recorded in the Domesday Book in 1086 under the name of Esenberge .
The village included Chequers, the residence of summer of the Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom since 1921. It is also the village where the old driver of race Jackie Stewart resides.
