Ellen Church

Ellen Church was the first Airline hostess of the history of aviation.

Nurse with Cresco in Iowa in the United States, it was an young girl of good family. She embarked the May 15th 1930 on the flight between San Francisco and Chicago (this line exists since 1927), of the company B.A.T, Boeing Air Transport, future United Airlines.

The test was conclusive and at the end of 3 months BEATS will engage 20 new hostesses. This idea will be taken up by the other airline companies.
