Elland Road

Elland Road is a Football stadium localized with Leeds. It is the enclosure of the club of Leeds United FC since the foundation of the club (1919). Leeds City FC evolved/moved there of 1904 with 1919. This stage of 40.242 places was inaugurated in 1878 for Rugby and the April 23rd 1898 for football by a match Hunslet-Harrogate, finale of the Cut of West Yorkshire in front of 3400 spectators. The record of multitude is of 59.892 spectators the March 15th 1967 for a match of F Challenge Cup Leeds United FC - Sunderland AFC. The ground was equipped with a lighting system for the matches in night in November 1953.
