Elixir of long life
Elixir of long life (Vitae Elixir) but also " however potable" is an elixir of Youth, a Boisson which would have the virtue to prolong the Vie indefinitely. More than the transmutation of lead into gold, the research of the prolongation of the life and eternal youth would be for certain the true goal of the alchemist (who in the stories of Harry Potter is Nicolas Flamel). One can find there a bond with the spiritual alchemy (in opposition to operative alchemy) which renvoit with concepts of transmutation of the body and heart of the alchemist himself (materia preceded it being the heart and the body constituting the anathor).
