Elisabeth of England
Born in Scotland with the castle from Falkland (or the palate of Dunfermline, according to the sources) the August 19th 1596, the Elisabeth princess of England , Scotland and Ireland, is the oldest daughter of Jacques Ier of England and Anne of Denmark.
During its birth, it was yet only princess of Scotland, her father having girds the English crown only in 1603, with died of the queen Elisabeth I {{Re}}.
Elisabeth is designated by many authors under the term of Elisabeth (or Elizabeth) Stuart , Stuart being the name of the house occupying the throne of Scotland.
She marries the February 14th 1613, against the opinion of her mother, the Elector Palatine Frederic V.
In 1619, Ferdinand II, selected successor of the king Matthias of Bohemia, is deposited by those which had put it on the throne. They propose this one in Frederic V, who although little laid out to play this part, accepts finally what precipitates Europe in the Guerre Thirty Year old. Frederic is crowned king de Bohême the November 4th 1619 with Prague and crowned Elisabeth queen 3 days later, the November 7th. Known for its spirit and its lightness, it charms its subjects by its beauty and its grace. It is called the queen of the hearts .
With the Bataille of the White Mountain demolishes one year after its sacring, the November 8th 1620, Frederic is put at the round of applause of the Empire, stripped its states and of its electoral dignity and constrained to exile itself with Elisabeth with $the Hague where both survive after a fashion.
Frederic dies in 1632 and Elisabeth remains however in Holland, turning over in England only in 1661 following the restoration of British monarchy, and this against the will of the king Charles II, which, despite everything, allocates a pension to him.
She dies the following year, 14 (or 12) February with London.
