Elisabeth Augusta Wendling
Elisabeth Augusta Wendling , born Sarselli, is a German Cantatrice (Soprano) born the February 20th 1746 with Mannheim, deceased the January 10th 1786 with Munich. She married the violonist Franz Anton Wendling and is the sister-in-law of the professional singer Dorothea Wendling.
She sang at the court of Mannheim. She sang in several works of Jean-Christian Bach. Mozart wrote for it the role of Elettra of Idomeneo, created in Munich on January 29th, 1781. In February 1781, it probably composes for it the air My che VI deposits, O stele - Sperai vicino, K. 368 .
