Elie Ferzli
Elie Ferzli (born in 1949), is a Politician Lebanon board.
Coming from a traditional political family, lawyer and Journalist, it is named in 1991 Greek-orthodoxe appointed of Zahlé. In 1992 it is elected appointed Bekaa Western and vice-president of the Parliament.
Prosyrian loyal supporter, it is re-elected in 1996 and 2000 and preserves his station of number two of Nabih Berri at the Parliament. It is him which officially declared its support for the extension of the mandate of President Emile Lahoud, when the Syria made a decision in this direction, although he declared his opposition to such an operation a few weeks before.
He leaves the vice-presidency of the Parliament in October 2004 with the profit of Michel Murr, when he is named Minister for Information within the government of Omar Karamé.
He is severely beaten with legislative of 2005 by the list of coalition between the forces of the Alliance of March 14th and the Movement Amal and is made since some appearances in support for the general Michel Aoun, the Hezbollah and the prosyrian personalities.
