Elias Sanbar

Elias Sanbar is a historian, poet and Palestinian essay writer born with Haïfa in 1947. It has fifteen months when its family settles with the Lebanon after the proclamation of the State of Israel. In 1969, it continues its studies with Paris. He teaches then the international law with Paris VII. He teaches then with the Lebanon then in the United States with the Université of Princeton. In 1981, Elias Sanbar takes part in the foundation in Paris, of the Review of Palestinian studies of which he is editor association today. It took part in the bilateral negotiations in Washington, it directed, of 1993 to 1996, the Palestinian delegation with the negotiations on the refugees. He is also member of the Palestinian National council since 1988.
