Elf Sylvain (Warhammer)

The elves sylvains are people of the imaginary Monde of Warhammer.

History

It was a remote time when the elves then plain under a single banner were the Masters of the seas, they had established colonies in the whole world and in particular on the grounds of Elthin-Arvan that the human ones call the Old World today. The elves then discovered the strange forest of Athel Loren. Three forwardings were launched to penetrate its mysteries. The first returned at the end of a few minutes, she had wandered of the days lasting in paths lugubrious and changing. The second never returned, as for the third, only one elf returned to insane half and she died the following day. The elves thus learned with this being wary of this forest while remaining fascinated by these mysteries.

When the Tear divided the faithful ones of King Phoenix and the followers of Malékith, the elves of Elthin-Arvan remained out of the conflict while taking the party of King D' Ulthulan. Several millenia later, the Old known World one of the conflicts most terrible of its history: the War of the Beard. Misled by Drucchis (black elves), the High Elves and the Dwarves reflect fine with a friendship which had eternal during a bloody war. King Phoenix ordered to the elves of Elthin-Arvan to join the forces sent by Utluan against the Dwarves. Almost all obeyed except those which lived in edge of Athel Loren. In front of an inevitable defeat and the threat of an invasion of Ulthuan by the hordes of King Sorcier Malékith, it was ordered with all the elves to rejoin Ulthuan by giving up the Old World with Human and to the Dwarves.

Taking the name of Asrai, the elves of the edge of Athel Loren declared themselves independent and refused to return to their native island. The Dwarves started to penetrate in Athel Loren ransacking the trees what poked the fury of the forest and of pitiless Dryades the Dwarves countered. But the winter weakened largely Athel Loren and the spirits quickly started to fall under the dwarf axes. The forest then opened a way towards the Asrai villages which it habritait. Believing itself threatened (rightly) the elves the dwarves massacred then built their villages in the middle of Athel Loren, eager of their protection.

Thus was born the close link which perdure still between the forest and the Sylvains Elves, combined few waked up spirits. Asrai pushed back the Dwarves then all those which tried to harm to him the wire of time: men animals with death-alive while passing by Bretonniens too bold.
