Electronic Nights of Ososphère

Born in 1997 around the activity developed with the Dairy in the field from the Current musics, the Electronic Nights of Ososphère is a multi-field festival around the numerical cultures, which is held in Strasbourg at the time of the last weekend of September. The two nights space, the Festival invests a whole district of Strasbourg in an artistic logic of dialog with urban space. The whole of the district is the subject thus of a complete redefinition, in terms of occupation and actuation of the site, and accommodates: - 6 scenic spaces and dance floors proposing more than 60 concerts or DJ sets - a double interior space dedicated to digital arts, in particular visual arts and arts in network Work on environments, the climates, the identity of spaces and the moments, is fundamental project of the Electronic Nights of Ososphère and allows a dialog between the public ones and the action which proceeds on the site. The aspect of the places, their architecture, challenged by artists, constitutes the decoration in which is made the artistic experiment.

The place is the original decoration of an event which plays with its spaces, its volumes, its prospects, its circulations, its geographical location but also its passed and its present, its frequentation.
