Electrocution

The electrocution is the consecutive death with the passage of Electric current in the human body (electrification).
This death can be due to
- a cardiac Fibrillation;
- a contraction of the respiratory muscles (Tétanie) which prevents breathing;
- destruction of cells: Rhabdomyolyse, Burn S;
- of the traumatisms associated with the electric Shock (involuntary movement, falls…).
Electrocution like procedure
Electrocution can be a procedure, in particular by the use of the Electric chair.
