Electrocution

The electrocution is the consecutive death with the passage of Electric current in the human body (electrification).

This death can be due to

  • a cardiac Fibrillation;
  • a contraction of the respiratory muscles (Tétanie) which prevents breathing;
  • destruction of cells: Rhabdomyolyse, Burn S;
  • of the traumatisms associated with the electric Shock (involuntary movement, falls…).

Electrocution like procedure

Electrocution can be a procedure, in particular by the use of the Electric chair.
