Electro Deluxe

Electro Deluxe is a group of electro-jazz French composed of Thomas Faure (saxophone and programming) Jérémie Coke (low), Arnaud Renaville (battery) and Gaël Cadoux (keyboards).

Biography

Created at the end of 2001, Electro Deluxe is a group which mixes jazz, funk, Hip-Hop with influences active of Herbie Hancock with Buckshot LeFonque while passing by Meshell Ndegeocello. With the difference in many classified formations " électro" whose music is primarily made by machines on which soloists improvise, Electro Deluxe chooses the opposite step while positioning as a true group of musicians of which the pieces are decorated loops or of samples.

Two albums exist to date ( Stardown in 2005 and Hopefull in 2007), each one having accommodated many guests among whom Christophe Panzani and Philippe Sellam (saxophones), Guillaume Poncelet, Flavio Boltro and Jean-François Baud (trumpet), Didier Lockwood (violin), Cynthia Saint-City, IMO, Crystal and HBK FiNN (song), Julien Birot (guitar)…
