Electric company of Chūbu

The Company of Electricity of Chūbu (中部電力 " Chubu Denryoku"), in English " Chubu Electric Company" , also called Chuden , is the supplier of electricity of the area of Chūbu in the median part of the Island of Honshū. It provides electricity to 60 Hz, whereas part of the Préfecture of Nagano uses of the 50 Hz.

This company is one of the 3 more important companies of Nagoya.

More recently, this company diversified in the industry of fiberoptic while creating, in January 2006, a new company called Chubu telecommunications .
