Career of trainer
He begins his career of trainer for the Stade of Rennes university club in France in 1952. He then accompanies the club by the the first division with the second at the time of his retrogation in 1953. He then decides to leave the club in 1955, is replaced by Henri Guerin (trainer - player) and is joined the Real Sociedad for four seasons.He returns then to France to pass behind the bench of the Girondins of Bordeaux in 1960. He then replaces Camille Libar which has just given the access to Of Gironde to the first division. In 1964-65, the team finishes in the second place of the podium behind FC Nantes. Replaced in 1967 by Jean-Pierre Bakrim, it joined its native land and FC Barcelona for two seasons. It gains the '' Copa del Rey '' in 1968. In 1969, he is trainer of the Valence FC in collaboration with Enrique Buqué until the end of the season 1969-70. Its team loses finally Copa against the Real Madrid.
It then takes the direction of the club of the south of Spain, the Elche Club of Fútbol for one season in the second division before joining the club Basque of the Athletic Bilbao
Its last trained club is FC Seville at the time of the season 1972-73 and they finish in the fourth place. He was also the trainer of the national team of Spain in 1969 per four matches.
