El Monte

El Monte is in the Comté of Los Angeles, in California. It is the 44ème more big city of this state in term of population (115 965 inhabitants in 2000), and the 191ème of the United States of America. Its surface is of 25,1 km ². As opposed to what one could believe, the significance of the name of the city is not " montagne" but “marsh, timbered place, meadow. ”
