Extracts

O you which speak, and which embroider on our account At 'Amr, that will he still last?

Do not believe us not touched by your load! Already The enemies, front, had calumniated us…

Always with hatred faced, upright hold us Our castles and a glory, sure of itself,

Who, as of before this day, had bleached the eyes People, so much it is, yes, irascible and rebel!

It also shows how the members of its tribe contributed to release Imrou' L Qays, near to the king (v. 58).

We released 'Imroulqays of the yoke, Where, well a long time, he was prisoner and suffering.
