El Espartero
Manual García Cuesta known as “El Espartero” , born with Seville (Spain) the January 18th 1865, died with Madrid (Spain) the May 27th 1894, was a Spanish Matador.
Presentation
He was remarkable by his courage and his determination vis-a-vis the bull, and by his stoicism in front of the danger. One owes him these well-known words of all Aficionado : “Farmhouse cornadas da el hambre” (“the hunger gives more blows of horns”).It took the alternate twice: First once at Seville the September 13rd 1885, one second time the October 11th 1885, between the two to have taken part in a Novillada .
The May 27th 1894, in the arenas of Madrid, it is killed at the time of the Estocade bull “Perdigón” of the Ganadería of Miura. Its funerals in Seville were imposing.
