El-Hadji Diouf (complete Name: El-Hadji Ousseynou Diouf) is a footballer Senegal board born the January 15th 1981.

Biography

The attacker considered for its foul temper is currently among the manpower of Bolton Wanderers. After its successes in France with Sochaux, Rennes and especially Lens where it made its best season with 10 goals and where it made party of the best players of league 1, the large English club Liverpool repurchases it for 10M€. However, its behavioral problems (multiple spittles, car accident without driving license) and the fact that the new trainer of Liverpool (Raphael Benitez) dédice not to make it play push the framing of the Reds to lend it for the season 2005-2006 to the Bolton Wanderers, which repurchases it after one successful season where it marks 9 goals. He is also international Senegalese. At present, one can say that he knew his hour of glory at the time of the world cup of 2002 when the " Lions of Téranga " (nickname of the national team sénégalaise) the quarterfinals of the competition and match lost against Turkey reached, thing that only a African team until had succeeded there (Cameroun in 1990).

Unfortunately, Diouf lived one season half-tone in 2005-2006, only 3 goals with Bolton, no marked with the EDGE with Senegal. It profits all the same from the extenuating circumstances compared to its performances 2005-2006: only 3 matches played EDGE including one full (against Zimbabwe) due to wound (absences: against Nigeria and Guinea, replacement against Ghana, sunken as substitute against Egypt) and more than 3 months of unavailability for its club for operation of a hernia to Germany (of its return of the EDGE to the end of April). It was not thus any more Diouf of 2002 which marked 10 goals with Lens and gave decisive master keys. Spending several times on billiards after its return of wound, it did not make any effort to return on its best level and this, even if it explained it him even by the fear of being wounded again (this wound is the first of its career); what however causes the anger of Sam Allardyce (his coach of Bolton) his guard. But it surprises everyone and reappears completely during the season 2006-2007 by marking 5 goals and by distributing 6 decisive master keys, forming a brilliant duet with the French attacker Nicolas Anelka. He is elected 4th the best attacking of PremierLeague, 11th better player of PremierLeague and the most active player of Bolton, he réssucite also with Senegal where he starts again to mark! He is courted more and more by large clubs! During this season 2007-2008, Diouf must confirm its beautiful former season, but the beginning of the season of the club does not seem to be promising because juice that there it is relégable in spite of some individualities like Diouf and Anelka.

Often criticized not to mark many goals, Diouf is more one frontier runner and a creator of occasions that a striker!
