Eisenach
Eisenach is a German city, located at the west of the Federal state of Thuringe, at the edge of the Werra. The city is dominated by the Château of Wartbourg.
It is especially known to be the city where Johann Sebastian Bach in 1685 was born , and where it lived until the death of his/her mother, in 1695.
The first mention of Eisenach was in 1180. The city is twinned with Sedan (since 1991).
