Eighth district of the Hauts-de-Seine

The eighth district of the Hauts-de-Seine is one of the 13 French legislative districts which account the department of the Hauts-de-Seine (92) located in area Île-de-France.

Geographical and demographic description

The eighth district of the Hauts-de-Seine is delimited by the electoral Découpage of the law n°86-1197 of the November 24th 1986 , it gathers the following administrative divisions: Cantons of Chaville, Meudon, Sevres.

According to the general Census of the population in 1999, carried out by the National institute of the Statistics and Economic studies (INSEE), the total population of this district is estimated at 98328 habitants^,.
