Eiffel 65 is an Italian group created in 1999 by Gianfranco Randone alias Jeffrey Jey (song), Maurizio Lobina alias Maury (keyboard and compositions) and Gabriele Ponte alias Gabry Ponte (DJ). The group was formed inside Blisscorporation, a production company of Turin specialized in the italodance. The name of the group was created by computer, Eiffel being the name of a computer programming language, figure 65 as for him is added by error, it acts of the end of a phone number written by the manager on the model before being printed. Their career initially begins with Blue (Da Ba Dee) which quickly becomes a tube, in Italy then in Europe. The title, according to Jeffrey Jey shows how people, at one time choose a lifestyle, being able to be represented by a color. Stay C, a Dutch producer will leave his version before the exit that the group. The title will be followed individual Move Your Body and Too Much off Heaven extracted the first album, Europop .

They also remixèrent songs of other artists like The Bad Touch of Bloodhound Gang, Get Down one It of Kool & the Gang, Ring my Bell of Ann Lee, Reach of S Club 7, It Me Sbaglio Piu Grande of Laura Pausini, All is Bleu of Jean-Michel Jarre, I love you of Jane Birkin, Freaky Friday of Aqua, All I really want of Kim Lukas etc

In 2001, the group leaves its second album, Contact . The title is inspired by the universe of films, the album having for topic the contact with extraterrestrial civilizations. Three individual was extracted from this album: One Goal , Back in Time , and Lucky in my life . In parallel, Gabry Ponte starts a career solo and leaves its first album Gabry Ponte .

2002 knows the exit of individual the Cosa Resterá (In Song has) , sung in Italian. it is a resumption of Now is Forever of the first album. The group also carries out Elephants In Amsterdam which does not leave into individual. It was to be included with the album Contact , finally it is given to the winners of a contest organized by Blisscorporation, the production company of the group.

In 2003, the group leaves its third album, more directed pop and sung in Italian. An international English version leaves in 2004.

The year 2005 is marked by the scission of the group: Gabry Big shot not being able to ensure of face its career solo and its participation in the group leaves Eiffel 65.

The May 16th 2006, Massimo Gabutti, president of Blisscorporation, announces the departure of Jeffrey Jey and Maurizio Lobina of the company after fourteen years of collaboration. The two members remaining of the group will continue their career under the name Bloom 06 , Eiffel 65 pertaining to Blissco. The name could be re-used to form a new group, made up of Gabry Ponte and Roberto Molinaro (DJ and producer with which Eiffel 65 worked much) as well as other artists of Blissco.

October 13rd, 2006 leaves the fourth album entitled Crash Test 01 under the name Bloom 06 in which 8 topics are proposed. Quite conscious of the insufficient number of topics on the album, a continuation will leave to the end of the year 2007 Crash Test 02 which will supplement the precedent.

June 28th, 2007 according to an official statement of Maury and Jeffrey (Bloom 06), Crash Test 02 should propose 10 of them to him, which by adding the songs with Crash Test 01 and this one, will thus make a total of 18 of it. Concerning the possible dates in the concerts of (Bloom 06), it will be necessary to be a little patient, indeed they should be communicated at the end of the development of Crash Test 02 .
