Biography

Egidio Romualdo Duni studied under Francesco Lasting with the Conservatorio di Santa Maria di Loreto of Naples, was initially in competition with Pergolèse and sometimes carried it on this Master, came in 1757 to generally set at Paris, where it composed, on the words of Favart, various light operas which almost all had success:
