Edward Kynaston

Edward Kynaston , born in 1640 and deceased in January 1706, is an actor English of the time of the English Restauration. He is one of the last actors of this period to have incarnated of the roles of women.

The character of Kynaston is incarnated by the actor Billy Crudup in Stage Beauty , a film of 2004 carried out by Richard Eyre. This film is an adaptation of the part Compleat Female Stage Beauty of Jeffrey Hatcher.
