Edward Feigenbaum

Edward Feigenbaum (born on January 20th 1936 with Weehawken, the United States) is a American Informaticien which works in the field of the Artificial intelligence.

Feigenbaum made its studies with Carnegie Mellon University.

It was rewarded by the Prix Turing for ACM, the most prestigious price of world data processing. In 1994, it shares this honor with Raj Reddy “for their work of pioneers in the fields of the study and the construction of systems of artificial intelligence to large scales, thus showing the practical importance and the commercial potential of technologies of the artificial intelligence”.

He is currently Professor of data processing and scientific deputy manager of Knowledge Systems Laboratory to Stanford University.

Edward Feigenbaum is also cofounder of three Startup S in the field of the artificial intelligence applied. He is the editor and the author of several reference books in this field. He is member elected of the National Academy off Engineering and of the American Academy off Arts and Science and he carries the title of Fellow off the American Association for Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) .
