Edward Everett Horton

Edward Everett Horton (New York, March 18th 1886 - Encino, September 29th 1970) is an American actor.

He begins with the theater in 1908 and the cinema in 1922. He interprets a little ridiculous society men in nearly 150 films. One especially knows it for three films of Mark Sandrich which he interpreted at the sides of Fred Astaire ( Merry Divorced the , the Dancer of the top and Undertaking It Mr Petrov ) and to the five of Ernst Lubitsch ( High Underworld , the merry Widow , the Eighth Woman of Bore-Blue ). It remains active with the screen as with the scene until its death.
