It adhere to the group of the dodecaphonists inhabitant of Li2ege, reveals with the Belgian public, in 1947, Variations COp 27 of Webern and meeting Swell in Paris. Its first compositions, dodecaphonic in particular (one sonata for piano, a string quartet…), allure André Souris, of which he became the friend. But its family loads oblige it to be devoted almost entirely to teaching (piano, education musical). Secured by a solid traditional formation, in love with literature, it occupies its hours of leisures with the local history, the folklore or poetry. After the council the Vatican II, it returns to composition and writing for the choral society of her village a liturgical music which testifies to the requirements that he formulated on the matter: " A humble, simple, impersonal quasi, hieratic art, but of one high technical control… ". Other more ambitious works are born then (the cantata Jesus, one Requiem, admired by Nadia Baker, the Quadrant with double edge, on a text of Andre Souris…). Become professor of musical analysis, it continues to compose (Stained glass for Jeanne d' Arc, of the melodies for song and piano…). The death, found in a railway accident, will end brutal at its projects.
