Edouard Ollivro
Edouard Ollivro was a professor, writer and French politician, born the February 17th 1921 with Lannion (Coast-of-North) and deceased the January 27th 1982 with Guingamp (Coast-of-North).
Biography
It is resulting from an family of five children originating in the Saint Nicolas's Day district in Lannion.
Literary career
It starts to write Picou wire of his father in a very alert and tasty style, during its convalescence with Louannec (22), after 4 years of disease. It publishes it at Plon in 1954, (which republishes it in 1972). This book was translated into Breton ( Pikoù, mab E dad , published by Mouladuriou Hor Yezh with Landerneau in 1983), in German, Turkish. This book will be the subject of a television serial in 1974.In September 1954, it is named professor of history to the college Auguste Pavia with Guingamp (22).
Three years later, in 1957, it publishes, always at Plon, its novel Grand Ball in Cadolan .
It still published a book containing two plays Gregoire died and a history of hat in the editor Christian Anger in Lannion in the middle of the years 1950.
After having gained a national competition of news, it published many news in Marie-Claire, of which the great harvest of the sea republished by the Breton Presses of Saint-Brieuc in 1992.
Political career
In 1959, it is elected City council man with Guingamp on a list of Economic progress and social, then mayor of this town of 1961 with 1977, year when many municipalities passed on the left. It will then remain city council man until its death. In 1965, it represents the mayors of the department to CODING.In 1967, it is elected Député PDM, of the fourth district of Coast-of-North. It will remain it until the legislative of 1978, during which it will be made beat by the Communist François Leizour. In 1969, he becomes vice-president of the Study committee and connections of the Breton interests (CELIB), and chair center group the National Assembly. In the years 1960, it held, in the newspaper Le Monde the chronicle “Notebooks of a deputy”.
He dies of an heart attack in his residence the January 27th 1982.
He is the father of Jean Ollivro, geographer, who made publish a posthumous novel in 2003 the old horses draw their chains appeared with the Editions Diabase with Plancoët (22).
