Edouard Michelin (1859-1940)

Edouard Michelin (1859 - 1940) is a French industrialist. Its name is bound, with that of his/her brother André Michelin, with the application of the pneumatic to the cycles and the car. He invented in 1891 the dismountable tire for the Bicyclette S, system which he adapted in 1894 to the cars.
