Edouard Goufeld
Edouard Goufeld is a player of failures Soviet born in 1936 with Odessa and deceased on September 24th 2002 with Los Angeles.
In 1960 he is champion of the armed forces of the USSR. The following year it gains (except contest for the title) the championship of Georgia. Appointed Large Master in 1967, he becomes the trainer of the frightening players géorgiennes who dominated the female failures during several decades. It trains the champion Maia Tchibourdanidzé and brings it to the female world title.
He wrote many works and articles on the failures, translated in nombeuses languages.
