Edouard Fillias

Edouard Fillias is a Politician French, council in communication and strategic day before, former president of the party liberal Alternative (3/1/2006 - 10/28/2007), founder and former president of association Most cherished liberty (3/1/2001 - 3/1/2005).

Biography

Grandson of Spanish immigrants, Edouard Fillias was born on April 21st 1979 in the 14th district from Paris.

He returns to Sciences Po Paris in 1998 and is elected on a list of the PLAIN to the board of management. He points out himself by his sharp opposition to the reform of Positive discrimination proposed by the direction. Once graduate, it launches out in the commercial studies and integrates HEC Paris in 2001, which it leaves graduate in 2004 with the option " e-business".

Its completed studies, he works of 2004 to 2006 at Digimind, a consultancy specialized in the strategic day before for which he published several white papers. In 2006, it leaves the cabinet and founds Quid Novi, a Consultancy in economic Intelligence.

In October 2007, it joined the agency Image & Stratégie, directed by Thierry Saussez, as a person in charge of the pole " Reputation on Internet".

It becomes intervening regular of the daily program the Large Newspaper, on BFM, presented by Fabrice Lundy, are council quality in communication.

He is married with Sabine Herold since September 2006.

Political commitment and associative

In 1999, it militates with the RPR where it supports the candidature of Patrick Devedjian for the presidency of this party. It leaves this movement a little later estimating that a liberal Clerc's Office would not take there.

Still student, it founds in 2001 liberal association “Freedom, I write your name” which will quickly become “Most cherished liberty”. During its 4 years of presidency, it was illustrated by the defense of the minimum service, in particular in public transport and the practice of the Agitprop (Counter-demonstrations, board game public Monopole , etc). In 2003, it publishes with Sabine Herold a book: Freedom, most cherished liberty , at the editions of the Beautiful Letters, the organization of a great demonstration against the strikes, on June 15th, 2003, places Harmony. In 2006, it publishes the Proclamation of Alterlibéraux , the political program of Liberal Alternative, with the Michalon editions.

March 1st 2006 it takes part in the creation of a new liberal political party liberal Alternative of which he becomes president. It was selected like candidate of this party for the presidential election of 2007. In December 2006, after having declared its intention of “more cotiser with the Social security” (see the article Obligation of adhesion to the Social security), it makes end of this monopoly one of the main themes of its countryside.

The March 13rd 2007, it declares fixed price for lack of sufficient sponsorships and gives its support for Francois Bayrou.

It is intervening regular of the radio program the Large Mouths on RMC, and of the emission let us not be afraid of the words , presented by Samuel Etienne on I-TV.

At the time of the legislative elections of 2007, it obtains 0,52% of the votes (228 votes) in the 12th district of Paris. He announces his intention not to represent himself with the presidency of Liberal Alternative on October 3rd, 2007.

Edouard Fillias leaves the presidency of Liberal Alternative in October 2007, following internal elections with the party which allow the emergence of five tendencies (Liberal Left, Nouveaux Liberals, Europe Liberal, Liberal Compagnons and authentic Liberals) and the renewal of its direction. There remains member of the office of the party, on the majority line " Authentiques".
