Edmund Wilson

Edmund Wilson (May 8th 1895 - June 12th 1972) is a American writer , Journaliste, Romancier, Dramaturge and Critique arts person.

Biography

Assistant editor association of The New Republic , director of Vanity Fair , critical arts person with the New Yorker , it influenced in his writings of the authors such as Sinclair Lewis, John Dos Passos or Upton Sinclair. Husband of the novelist Mary McCarthy, author of a correspondence with Anaïs Nin and Vladimir Nabokov, it made discover with the public works of William Faulkner, Ernest Hemingway or Francis Scott Fitzgerald, inter alia. Edmund Wilson passes for one of the greatest American literary critics of the 20th century - and perhaps largest.
