Edmund James Banfield

Edmund James Banfield is a Journaliste and a Australian writer of British origin , born the September 4th 1852 with Liverpool and dead the June 5th 1923 with Dunk Island.

His/her father settles in Australia with Ararat when it was very young. After having worked in several newspapers of the three colonies of the east of Australia, it goes in 1882 in the north of the Queensland where it works as journalist for the Townsville Daily Bulletin until in 1897. It Marie in 1886. Mow of its work conditions, it is withdrawn with his wife with Dunk Island where it is devoted to the writing.
