Edmund Heines

Edmund Heines , (Munich July 21st, 1897 1) - (Munich) June 30th, 1934 1), was a member of the Nazi party, SA - Obergruppenführer and appointed with the Reichstag. He was assassinated at the time of the Nuit of the long knives.

Heines takes part in the First World War which it finishes, in 1918, with the rank of lieutenant.

In 1925, it is affiliated with the Nazi party and SA.
In 1929, he is condemned for murder by a martial court of exception, but quickly amnestied. This same year, it is named Gauleiter in Palatinat.

In 1930, he is elected representing district of Liegnitz to the Reichstag. Of 1931à 1934, it is SA Führer of Silesia and temporary of Ernst Röhm, chief of staff of SA, becoming thus the second most important character of this organization. In May 1933, it moreover is named chief of the police force of Breslau.

It is one of the friends close and undoubtedly one to the lovers of Ernst Röhm.

At the time of the Night of the long knives, it is stopped by Adolf Hitler itself, which opens the doors of the rooms of the Hanselbauer pension, gun with the fist: it is surprised in its room with a 18 years SA with which it probably spent the night.

Taken along to Munich, he is assassinated by a firing squad ordered by Sepp Dietrich.
