Edmund Cooper born the April 30th 1926 with Marple (Large Manchester), dead the March 11th 1982 with Chichester, is a writer of British Science-fiction.

Workman, sailor, then teacher, it begins in the writing in the middle of the years 1950. Its novels are often black and apocalyptic.
