Edmond Haraucourt

Edmond Haraucourt (born in 1856 with Bourmont (Haute-Marne), died in 1941, 5 quai des Fleurs with Paris) is a French writer who was also type-setter, lyric writer and conservative of the Musée of Cluny.

It began its career with the edition in 1882, with Brussels, of a sulfurous work (for the time!) under the pseudonym of Lord de Chambley : the Legend of the sexes, poëmes hysterical .

It belonged to the Hydropathes and collaborated in Young France . He was president of the Société of the men of letters of 1920 to 1922.

He bequeathed his property, located on the island of Bréhat in Brittany (Coasts-D' Armor), with the Cité international academic of Paris.
