Biography

Edmilson gained the championship of the State de São Paulo, the Ligue 1 in France and the championship of Spain.

It disputed its first match of championship of France the September 6th 2000.

Edmilson counts 36 selections in the team of Brazil, the first against the team of Paraguay the July 18th 2000.

It disputed the World cup in 2002 and in particular marked a spectacular goal vis-a-vis the Costa Rica, of superb turned over lifting.

Edmilson was selected for the World cup in 2006 but a wound with the internal meniscus of the right knee did not enable him to take part in the competition.
