Editoria Disney
Editoria Disney is the Italian subsidiary company of the Walt Disney Company for the edition and the publication of books.
History
The company begins in 1938 with creation from a subsidiary company in named Italy Creazioni Walt Disney S.A.I , to manage the Disney productions in Italy and especially the publication since 1932 of the periodical Topolino by the editor Mondadori.
It is the service dedicated to the press that will become the branch edition, become a named subsidiary company Editoria Disney .
In 1988, Disney resells the publication of the titles which it partially ensured Mondadori, while Creazioni Walt Disney S.A.I is renamed Walt Disney Company Italia . The indirect management of these titles is entrusted to division Divisione Periodici .
In 1991, Editoria Disney created a division for the books: Divisione Libri
