The Editions of Orycte , founded with Sour El-Ghozlane in Algeria, in margin of the monopoly of the edition, installed later with Sigean and Paris, publish between 1976 and 2005, in artisanal form, a hundred plates out-trade, generally associating poets and painters, of Algeria, of France and Belgium.

They borrow the name of a Coléoptère anthropophile, (Oryctes nasicornis Linné), familiar of the place, whose their initials created by Serge Guadagnini evoke the silhouette.
