Editions Harmattan
The Éditions Harmattan are a French Publisher , which draws its name from the wind Harmattan, created and directed by Denis Pryen.
It is presented as “the 1st rank of the French edition of many titles” (nearly 1500 works every year leaves, on the numerical presses of the Corlet company).
It is a house turned historically towards Africa and the questions of development, with many titles of literature and which uses a leading process near of the edition on account to author.
The publisher has its own bookstore in the 5th district of Paris; it contains tens of thousands of books in social sciences, literature, specialized of the five continents, untraceable works, re-examined, vidéos.
Since 2003, the funds are digitized with the format ebook (encrypted pdf). Currently more than six thousand electronic works are available on line, on the site of the editions of Harmattan. Their price is approximately a third less expensive than the version paper.
Since 2003 also, the Théâtre of Lucernaire is closely associated with becoming publisher.
