Maurice Renault, impassioned detective novel, diversifies the activities of its advertizing omnium in 1948 with Mystery-magazine (French edition of Ellery Queen' S mystery magazine ) and in 1953 with Fiction (French edition of The Magazine off fantasy & science fiction ).
Thereafter, the imaginary character of Emile Opta is created to give more personality to the Opta initials, which will remain definitively related in France to the history of the Police officer and the Science fiction.
