Edith Canat de Chizy

Edith Canat de Chizy is a Compositrice French born with Lyon on March 26th, 1950.

It follows to Paris in addition to studies of art, of Archéologie and of philosophy to the Sorbonne of the musical studies to the Conservatoire higher national of music and dance of Paris where it obtains the prices of Harmonie, of Fugue, counterpoint, analyzes, of Orchestration and Composition.

It was raises of Ivo Malec, Maurice Ohana, and worked in parallel the electroone with Guy Reibel. Many prices and distinctions come to reward its work and in 2005 she is elected with the Academy of the fine arts to the armchair of Daniel-Lesur.
