With 4 other under-areas, it forms the Alentejo.
Geography
The Edge of Tage is bordering:- in north, of the littoral Pinhal and the Average Tage,
- in the east, of the High Alentejo,
- in the south, of the central Alentejo and the Peninsula of Setúbal,
- in the west, of the Large Lisbon and the under-area Western.
