Eddy Louis

Eddy Louis is a Pianiste of Jazz French, also Chanteur and organist, born with Paris the May 2nd 1941.

Biography

Eddy Louis is resulting from a family of musicians, his father being trumpet player. He studies itself the trumpet and the piano. Adolescence, he plays in the orchestra of his father. At the beginning of the Years 1960, it plays of the piano in limp with Paris while continuing its studies. He also sings with the musical group the " Double Six " (with its founder Mimi Perrin, Roger Guerin, Ward Swingle and Christiane Legrand, the sister of Michel Legrand.

Adding the organ to his instrumental pallet, Louis plays in the years 1960 with Johnny Griffin, Art Taylor, Dizzy Gillespie and Stan Getz. At the end of the years 1960, it belongs to the trio of Kenny Clarke and also records with Barney Kessel. Eddy Louis, also plays and records with Claude Nougaro, Jane Birkin and well of others. HE also plays with Henri Salvador… It forms a big band " Multicolor Feeling" with which it carried out many rounds in all Europe. He also played in duet with Michel Petrucciani and Richard Galliano.
